Withdrawal #9702076 Ticket number: #255023
As the title says, Bitfinex will not return my funds after their bank supposedly messed up my withdrawal.
In late April of this year I attempted to withdraw ~$25,000 from Bitfinex to my bank account. There was no sign of the money so after two weeks I got in contact with support. After some back and forth it became clear the money could not be sent to my bank account and instead they would return the funds to my Bitfinex account.
This was 3 months ago. Originally it was meant to take maximum 7 business days but then they just kept requesting more time to process the refund.
Now I have threatened legal action and they still have not returned the funds. I have contacted a legal firm in the British Virgin Islands where they are registered but would like to avoid the legal fees if at all possible.
This is is my last ditch attempt to resolve it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
