Question about creating own Lightning Node

Question about creating own Lightning Node /u/Rakhom Hi, I was wondering, what are the incentives for creating my own Lightning Node, eg on a Raspberry Pi, if that's possible? I read that a node owner has to pay his own electricity costs of course and then also has to pay some Bitcoin fees when opening or closing channels. In turn I also read that LN doesn't really generate any significant fees. So before I operate my own LN node I'd like to make sure I'm not actually burning money by doing so.
