I've noticed this pattern in which every 20 years we see a revolution followed by a mass adoption phase. Let me explain:
In the 1970s, the PC was in its development phase. In the 1980s, it was in its mass adoption phase.
In the 1990s, the Internet was in its development phase. In the 2000s, it was in its mass adoption phase.
Now in the 2010s, Blockchain/Cryptocurrency is in its development phase. In the 2020s following the same logic, it should be in its mass adoption phase.
Notice how each of these three revolutions piggybacks off of the previous one. The internet was built upon the PC and Blockchain is built upon the internet. Yet they are completely different things. Therefore, we should see the fourth revolution start in the 2030s which will "piggyback" off of Blockchain tech. The 2040s shall be the mass adoption phase of the 2030s revolution. Any thoughts? The is just my personal theory/attempt at trying to connect all the dots.
