I have a degree in computer science and still have issues doing certain things with bitcoin. Someone needs to make a software that's non techy and makes it easy to buy, store and back up your coins. Simplicity is the key to make Bitcoin mainstream. Look at Counbase. Public uses it cause it's simple (but still make you jump through the hoops),but some don't trust storing their fortune online.
