On Monday I spent most of my savings on 1.05 BTC. I will hold tight and buy low, and here's why

Here is my rationale, please correct me if I'm wrong:

  1. Bitcoin performs the same value storage function as gold, except it can be moved anywhere in the world much faster and cheaper

  2. The market cap of gold is nevertheless 7 trillion compared to BTC's 200 billion. That's a lot of room for growth

  3. The tech has proved itself to be a genuine innovation, and resistant to repeated attempts to attack it/undermine it. It is also being improved upon by developers who are working to solve the transaction fee, speed and other wrinkles

  4. The tech can be programmed and customised for a variety of applications, most of which we probably haven't seen yet

  5. The growth line of its value is the only one which seems to be truly exponential with fractal characteristics - the same surge, correction, dead cat bounce and surge cycle, repeated up and up

  6. Numerous tech giants have expressed approval of its genuine innovation, including Gates, Musk and Branson

  7. We are still on the bottom sweep of the S-curve of adoption

For these reasons I am holding and will buy as much as I safely can during dips. This is my reasoning after around two weeks of research, thanks to everyone on the sub for helping us newbies. If there's anything I've missed or mischaracterised please do say!
