I don't think anyone can really doubt both Jeff's incompetence and his intentions at this point. By rolling out a patch to fix a failed hard Fork attempt the only intention that could be extrapolated from the scenario is that he wishes to cause chaos within the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Let us not forget the context that this project was a hostile hard fork with no replay protection. So the fact that it was abandoned and that he is still encouraging people to Fork shows that he is directly complicit in contributing to an attack upon the Bitcoin Network.

No review, no competence and direct evidence of culpability in attacking the Bitcoin network.

Rhetorical question for you all...... If you manufacture a gun whose sole purpose is to shoot a particular type of person then doesn't that particular type of person have a valid reason to be upset at the manufacturer?

S2X was designed without replay protection. If it was abandoned, then there could be no "upgr ade". The entire purpose of the project was to bring the community together and to upgrade the protocol without contention. It was cancelled because of lack of consensus.

This means by activating it the only possible outcome that could occur through its activation would be causing disruption within the Bitcoin Network.

That's it. Literally not a single other valid use case for this project at this point.

Garzik manufactured a gun whose sole purpose was to shoot at Bitcoin. I'm not talking about the creation of the project I'm talking about rolling out a patch after it was cancelled to enable people to fork and cause chaos within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
