Big part of my confidence about Bitcoin and therefore crypto currencies comes from the memories of traumatic events that shook off the weak and the greedy and just made our protocol stronger and more resilient. Every new attempt to kill Bitcoin requires even more strength and money, which is exactly what we're seeing in the current events. I'd be willing to take an even bigger dip than this one because the gains in confidence and trust will be more important in the long run than a temporary decrease in price. I believe that there is no way that a currency that actively wants to take over and destroy Bitcoin and its brand can peacefully coexist with Bitcoin. I think only one of the chains will eventually make it and guess what is needed for long-term success: confidence. And not delusional wishful thinking and aggressive behavior.
